Activities

Staff encourage and where necessary assist residents to pursue their interests and hobbies. Local clubs may be joined if desired and walks in the garden are recommended. We have a well stocked library that is regularly updated and includes large print books.

Bird of Prey Diane is the home's dedicated Activities Co-ordinator and is responible for organising a variety of activities for those wishing to participate. These include reminiscence sessions, bingo and film afternoons. She also organises regular visits by entertainers including singers, quiz masters and theatre groups. Other social events include celebrating festivals and residents birthdays.

In its own quiet area there is a computer with internet access for residents use. Residents who wish to use the computer are given their own personal login and a staff member will assist initially if required. Skype is available for those residents who would like to use it.
