Residents may retain their own GP if he or she agrees; alternatively there are local doctors who will call when requested. Where required medicine is supervised by competent staff who ensure safe and correct administration. Appointments can be arranged with opticians, audiologist, dentists and chiropodists as required and a hairdresser visits the home on a regular basis. Where payment is applicable the cost must be met by the resident. The local Anglican vicar calls each month to give communion and clergy of other denominations will call if asked.
For the convenience of our residents we have a hairdressing salon in the home and a hairdresser visits regularly.
